I’m Amanda Wondergem, a Visual Designer with 9+ years of experience currently based in Vancouver, BC. I’ve worked in both agency and startup organizations. My career experience has largely been in the finance and fintech space, with some projects in education, health and safety and mental health. I enjoy implementing process improvements and using design to simplify complex content.
As a Senior Visual Designer at Borrowell, I've contributed to the company's acquisition growth of 1.7M+ members by leading an iterative design process and managing Marketing Team stakeholder expectations. I enabled the Marketing Team to test and iterate on ads faster by creating responsive ad templates in Figma. I also increased revenue by 16% with an explainer video for the Credit Builder product.

A project has developed from my love of bikes! My mountain biking coach and I are creating a platform called Mountain Riders Collective. I have a passion for storytelling which led me to write and illustrate stories as a child and more recently, create paintings. I launched a successful side business selling my artwork online and at in-person events.
